About Oki Electric Industry

Oki Electric Industry Co., Ltd. engages in the manufacture and sale of information & communication equipment, printers, and mechatronic systems. It operates through the following segments: Information & Communications Technology (ICT), Mechatronic Systems, Printers, Electronics Manufacturing Service (EMS), and Others. The ICT segment covers transportation infrastructure, disaster prevention, defense, communication equipment, ticket reservation, business phones, contact centers, and multi-hop wireless systems. The Mechatronic Systems segment handles automated teller machines (ATMs), cash processing machines, sales, ticket, and check-in terminals, foreign currency changer, and ATM monitoring services. The Printers segment deals with color & monochromatic light-emitting diode printers, and multi-functional printers; as well as large-sized inkjet and dot impact printers. The EMS segment offers printed circuit boards, and electronic design; as well as production outsourcing services. The Others segment includes the manufacture and sale of other equipment and products. The company was founded by Kibataro Oki in January 1881 and is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan.
