It operates through the following segments: Motor Vehicle, Commercial Property, Cargo, Liability, Accidental Injury and Health, Agriculture, Credit and Surety, Others, and Corporate. The Motor Vehicle segment provides insurance products covering motor vehicles. The Commercial Property segment offers insurance products for commercial properties. The Cargo segment includes insurance products covering vessels, craft, and conveyances. The Liability segment refers to the insurance products covering policyholders’ liabilities. The Accidental Injury and Health segment comprises insurance for accidental injuries and medical expenses. The Agriculture segment focuses on the insurance products covering agriculture business. The Credit and Surety segment provides insurance products covering credit and surety business. The Other segment represents insurance products related to homeowners, special risks, marine hull, construction, and credit. The Corporate segment consists of income and expenses from investment activities, share of results of associates, non-operating income and expenses, unallocated income, and expenditures. The company was founded in July 2003 and is headquartered in Beijing, China.
