Softing AG engages in the business of developing and marketing software, hardware, and complete system solutions. It operates through the following segments: Industrial Automation, Automotive, IT Networks, and Other. The Industrial Automation segment consists of Softing Industrial Automation GmbH, Online Development Inc., Softing Inc., Softing Italia, Buxbaum Automation GmbH, and Holding Softing North America Inc. The Automotive segment focuses on Softing Automotive Electronics GmbH, Softing Engineering and Solutions Gmbh, GlobalmatiX AG, GlobalmatiX Inc., and GlobalmatiX GmbH. The IT Networks segment is involved in Softing IT Networks GmbH, Softing Singapore, and Softing France. The Other segment includes Softing Services GmbH, Softing Romania, Softing China, and Softing AG. The company was founded in 1979 and is headquartered in Haar, Germany.
