Planes, punches, and pound cake will color in the week that lies ahead.

Here's hoping that Marvel Entertainment (NYSE:MVL) doesn't go from hero to zero to start off the trading week. The comic book specialist that has inked a pretty lucrative adventure by licensing many of its prized characters, including Spider-Man and the Hulk, will post its second-quarter results on Monday morning.

Don't expect much out of Marvel, though. It's in a lull between major film projects. The $0.11 per share that analysts are expecting Marvel to earn would be its lowest since the spring of 2002.

There's a lot of action ahead, however. Marvel, a Motley Fool Stock Advisor recommendation, has Spider-Man 3 coming out next summer, and then it's hoping to make a mint by bankrolling its own Marvel character flicks.

Sara Lee
(NYSE:SLE) wraps up its fiscal 2006 on Tuesday. Not much for pound cake? Don't worry -- the high-yielding Income Investor newsletter pick is also the food giant behind everything from Hanes undies to Ball Park frankfurters.

M-I-C ... see you on Wednesday. K-E-Y ... why? Because that's when Disney (NYSE:DIS) is set to report on its fiscal third quarter. The family entertainment giant has been on a roll now that ABC is back on track, the company's animation studio has been remedied overnight by the Pixar purchase, and its theme parks are faring well even as smaller regional chains have been struggling.

The Motley Fool Stock Advisor selection has historically put up its best numbers during this quarter, when early summer blockbusters and theme parks at their seasonal peak have traditionally pulled through.

Hungry? Brinker International (NYSE:EAT) serves up its fiscal fourth-quarter report on Thursday. If you can't recall stepping into a Brinker for a meal, maybe you're familiar with some of its actual casual-dining concepts, including Chili's and Romano's Macaroni Grill. As with Disney, this is also Brinker's strongest quarter of the year.

We hit the tarmac to arrive at the end of the trading week with Brazilian jet-maker Embraer (NYSE:ERJ) reporting. This may not seem like an attractive industry to buy into. But Embraer, another David Gardner pick for Motley Fool Stock Advisor readers, has been consistently profitable through thick and industrial thin.

Until next week, I remain,
