Delta (NYSE: DAL) recently announced that it will add more slots and extend its dominance at LaGuardia Airport in New York through a swap with US Airways (NYSE: LCC). This move will help Delta increase revenue from a crucial airport in the biggest city in the U.S. and should help the company streamline operations there as well. Could airport swaps like this one have a big effect on the airline business going forward?
