In today's edition, Eric takes a look back at EMC's outstanding quarter. EMC was fueled by a few key factors, notably growth in its midtier segment and also the outstanding results of virtualization subsidiary VMware. On its subsequent earnings call, EMC revealed some interesting data points, such as hinting that its Isilon segment won a massive contract in Apple's $1 billion-plus data center and that "BRIC 13" revenue is growing at 22%.
