There's never a dull week on Wall Street. Let's go over some of the news that will shape the week to come.

Monday
The trading week begins with Joe's Jeans (Nasdaq: JOEZ) trying on its latest quarter. The premium denim specialist has been a volatile performer over the years, but analysts do see the company posting a small profit on Monday.

Tuesday
Yahoo! (Nasdaq: YHOO) survived this past week's annual shareholder meeting. How will it hold up when it's time to divulge its latest quarterly results?

The good news is that analysts see marked improvement on Yahoo!'s bottom line. They expect the dot-com pioneer to earn $0.23 a share, well ahead of the $0.18 it posted a year earlier.

Wednesday
Select Comfort (Nasdaq: SCSS) saw a premium mattress rival collapse after posting weak financials last month. Now it's time to see whether Select Comfort is a beneficiary of the weakness or whether the slowdown is hitting all of the upscale bedding specialists.

Thursday
Freeport-McMoRan
(NYSE: FCX) has seen copper prices slide, as many commodities have over the past year. As a miner with generally steady retrieval costs, it feels the pinch when copper and gold decline in value. Wall Street's banking on Freeport-McMoRan to earn a little more than half of what it posted a year earlier.

Friday
The final trading day of the week is usually quiet, but not with earnings season just getting started. General Electric (NYSE: GE) -- a conglomerate that a few years ago was the country's most valuable company by market cap -- checks in today.
