EPS came in at $0.56. The 11 earnings estimates compiled by S&P Capital IQ averaged $0.56 per share. GAAP EPS of $0.45 for Q3 were 63% lower than the prior-year quarter's $1.21 per share. (The prior-year quarter included $1.70 per share in earnings from discontinued operations.)

For the quarter, gross margin was 45.8%, 110 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. Operating margin was 12.6%, 150 basis points better than the prior-year quarter. Net margin was 9.8%, 1,860 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter.
Next quarter's average estimate for revenue is $1.16 billion. On the bottom line, the average EPS estimate is $0.57.
Next year's average estimate for revenue is $4.41 billion. The average EPS estimate is $1.77.
