EPS came in at $0.44. The 24 earnings estimates compiled by S&P Capital IQ predicted $0.45 per share. Non-GAAP EPS of $0.44 for Q1 were 4.3% lower than the prior-year quarter's $0.46 per share. GAAP EPS of $0.42 for Q1 were 8.7% lower than the prior-year quarter's $0.46 per share.

For the quarter, gross margin was 62.7%, 50 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. Operating margin was 26.9%, 180 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. Net margin was 21.1%, 40 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter.
