AECOM Technology (ACM +1.11%) is about to help Pennsylvania improve its infrastructure. It has been awarded a series of contracts by the state's Department of Transportation to, in its words, "provide design solutions for repairing corridors and upgrading infrastructure on several Pennsylvania interstates."
The company will provide services to the DOT that include impact studies, interchange reconfigurations, project management, and design, among numerous others associated with boosting such infrastructure. The firm will serve as lead designer on projects on the I-70 and I-80 highways, as a major sub-consultant for work on the I-78, and as project manager on the reconstruction of part of the I-95 and a connecting interchange.
AECOM said the total potential value of the new agreement is $37.5 million.
