Following an announcement in February that Microsoft (MSFT 0.37%) was bringing its Surface tablet to six additional countries, the software giant is at it again. Microsoft is further expanding country availability of its device, with most of the expansion for its Surface Pro model.

In the coming months, Surface RT will launch in Malaysia, Mexico, Korea, and Thailand, which will bring that device's availability to 29 markets. Surface Pro is getting the biggest boost, with 24 new markets getting the more powerful version by the end of June. Surface Pro is currently only in three markets: the U.S., Canada, and China.

Microsoft also said that it's been having trouble keeping the 128 GB model of its Surface Pro in stock, and has worked hard to boost inventory and availability.
