Electronic device maker Ametek (AME 0.16%) announced today its second-quarter dividend of $0.06 per share, the same rate it paid for the last five quarters after it raised the payout 50% from $0.04 per share.
The board of directors said the quarterly dividend is payable on June 28 to the holders of record at the close of business on June 14. Ametek has paid a dividend every quarter since 2000 and has regularly increased the payout over that time period. Since then it has also split its stock four times, the last time being last June when it split 3-for-2.
The regular dividend payment equates to a $0.24-per-share annual dividend yielding 0.6% based on the closing price of Ametek's stock on May 8.
