Dow Chemical (DOW) is hewing to its long-standing company tradition by shelling out a quarterly dividend. The firm has declared a distribution of $0.32 per share, which it is to hand out on July 30 to shareholders of record as of June 28. This amount matches each of Dow Chemical's previous four disbursements, the most recent of which was paid at the end of April.

In the press release announcing the move, the company pointed out that the just-announced payout is its 407th quarterly distribution in a row, dating back to 2012.

The current dividend annualizes to $1.28 per share. That yields 3.7% at Dow Chemical's most recent closing stock price of $34.92.
