Reports surfaced over the weekend that indicated Apple (AAPL 1.27%) has lined up a music licensing deal with Warner Music in preparation for Apple to introduce its iRadio platform.

Sony (SONY 1.10%) is the lone holdout. Is it a coincidence? 

After all, Apple's iPod took the throne as the top portable media player that Sony used to hold when its Walkman was popular. Sony's still a major player in televisions at a time when Apple is widely expected to introduce a smart television.
