Property and casualty insurer Chubb (NYSE:CB) announced this morning its second-quarter dividend of $0.44 per share, the same rate it paid last quarter after it raised the payout 7% from $0.41 per share.
The board of directors said the quarterly dividend is payable on July 9 to the holders of record at the close of business on June 29. The insurer has raised its payout for 31 consecutive years.
The regular dividend payment equates to a $1.76-per-share annual dividend, yielding 2% based on the closing price of Chubb's stock on June 5.
