After launching a Father's Day Promotion for its Nook devices, Barnes & Noble (BKS +0.00%) today announced that it is extending the discounts. The bookseller is offering up to $120 off Nook HD tablets.
The 7-inch Nook HD is priced at $129 for an 8 GB model and $149 for a 16 GB model. That's down from the standard price points of $199 and $229, respectively. The larger 9-inch Nook HD+ will be available for $149 for a 16 GB model and $179 for a 32 GB model, down from $269 and $299. The discounts are only available for a limited time, but B&N did not specify how long in the press release.
Barnes & Noble also noted that it recently added Google Play to its Nook devices, tapping the search giant's official content store for apps, music, movies, and more.
