EPS came in at $4.15. The 21 earnings estimates compiled by S&P Capital IQ predicted $3.81 per share. Non-GAAP EPS of $4.15 for Q2 were 34% higher than the prior-year quarter's $3.10 per share. GAAP EPS of $4.19 for Q2 were 36% higher than the prior-year quarter's $3.08 per share.

For the quarter, gross margin was 54.9%, 140 basis points better than the prior-year quarter. Operating margin was 39.6%, 240 basis points better than the prior-year quarter. Net margin was 29.4%, 450 basis points better than the prior-year quarter. (Margins calculated in GAAP terms.)
Next quarter's average estimate for revenue is $2.48 billion. On the bottom line, the average EPS estimate is $3.84.
Next year's average estimate for revenue is $10.06 billion. The average EPS estimate is $15.95.
