EPS came in at $0.76. The 14 earnings estimates compiled by S&P Capital IQ forecast $0.66 per share. Non-GAAP EPS of $0.76 for Q2 were 22% lower than the prior-year quarter's $0.98 per share. GAAP EPS of $0.88 for Q2 were 7.4% lower than the prior-year quarter's $0.95 per share.

For the quarter, gross margin was 55.1%, 660 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. Operating margin was 24.4%, 690 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. Net margin was 24.8%, 110 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. (Margins calculated in GAAP terms.)
