EPS came in at $3.17. The nine earnings estimates compiled by S&P Capital IQ predicted $2.92 per share. Non-GAAP EPS of $3.17 for Q2 were 42% higher than the prior-year quarter's $2.24 per share. GAAP EPS of $3.33 for Q2 were 49% higher than the prior-year quarter's $2.24 per share.

For the quarter, gross margin was 29.8%, 380 basis points better than the prior-year quarter. Operating margin was 16.4%, 390 basis points better than the prior-year quarter. Net margin was 10.2%, 240 basis points better than the prior-year quarter. (Margins calculated in GAAP terms.)
Next quarter's average estimate for revenue is $803.3 million. On the bottom line, the average EPS estimate is $2.46.
