Nike (NKE 2.87%) is keeping its pace steady as far as shareholder payouts are concerned. The company has declared a quarterly dividend for both its Class A and B common stock of $0.21 per share. This will be paid on October 7 to shareholders of record as of September 3. That amount matches each of the firm's preceding three distributions, the most recent of which was paid at the beginning of July. The first of that trio of payouts was $0.42 per share, but this was in advance of a 2-for-1 stock split effected last December.
The freshly declared dividend annualizes to $0.84 per share. That yields 1.3% at Nike's most recent closing stock price of $66.51.
