Roper Keeps Dividend Steady

Diversified engineered products company raised the payout to investors 20% three quarters ago.

Diversified engineered products firm Roper Industries (ROP +0.45%) announced today its third-quarter dividend of $0.165 per share, the same rate it's paid for the past three quarters after raising the payout 20%, from $0.1375 per share.

The board of directors said the quarterly dividend is payable on Oct. 25 to the holders of record at the close of business on Oct.11. The regular dividend payment equates to a $0.66-per-share annual dividend, yielding 0.5% based on the closing price today of Roper Industries' stock.
