Today's top investing stories on Apple, BlackBerry, the new Dow, and more.

The following video is from Monday's edition of Investor Beat, in which host Chris Hill and Motley Fool analysts Jason Moser and Bill Barker dissect the hardest-hitting investing stories of the day.

Apple shattered all sales estimates for the debut weekend of its iPhone 5s and 5c models, selling 9 million devices. Meanwhile, BlackBerry is due to be bought out, by a group led by Fairfax Financial. In the lead story on today's Investor Beat, Jason and Bill discuss the future of BlackBerry, and whether Apple is a buy today.

The guys also discuss four stocks making moves on the market today. Netflix shares pulled back today, despite an Emmy award for Best Director for the service's original series House of Cards. Pandora shares fell on news that Apple has more than 11 million listeners in its new iTunes Radio service. Shares of Green Mountain Coffee Roasters were down amid heavy trading volume. And shares of Zillow pulled back today, also in heavier-than-usual volume.

Finally, Jason and Bill tell investors why they're going to be watching shares of AutoZone and Carnival this week.

Bill Barker owns shares of Apple. Chris Hill and Jason Moser have no position in any stocks mentioned. The Motley Fool recommends Apple, Green Mountain Coffee Roasters, Netflix, Pandora Media, and Zillow and owns shares of Apple, Netflix, and Zillow.
