Could this be the revival of the video game console platform or is the future of the console still grim?

We're now just a month away from the arrival of Microsoft's (MSFT -3.18%) Xbox One and Sony's (SONY -0.79%) PlayStation 4. Diehard gamers are starting to save up for the systems, and the initial pre-orders have all but sold out.

Longtime Fool contributor isn't convinced that the initial buzz will pan out. In this video, he goes over his unpopular stance on the new consoles with Rex Moore.

After several years of declining video game hardware, software, and PC sales, there's plenty riding on the new consoles, but Rick feels that high prices and the exodus of casual gamers will weigh on the initial popularity of the two systems.
