Real estate investment trust CommonWealth (EQC) has announced plans to keep its quarterly common dividend steady at $0.25. This is the same amount the REIT has paid since November 2012, after cutting its payout 50% from $0.50 per share. The latest common dividend will be payable on Nov. 22 to shareholders of record Oct. 25.
Additionally, CommonWealth REIT will pay Series D and Series E Preferred Dividends of $0.4063 and $0.4531 per share, respectively. Both preferred dividends will be payable on Nov. 15 to shareholders of record as of the close of business on Nov. 15.
On an annualized basis, CommonWealth REIT's common dividend adds to $1.00. As of the stock market's close on Oct. 8, the company was trading at $24.01, which means the REIT currently has a dividend yield of 4.1%.
