Pharmacy operator Walgreen (WBA -1.12%) announced today its third-quarter dividend of $0.315 per share, the same rate it paid last quarter after raising the payout to investors 14.5% from $0.275 per share.
The board of directors said the quarterly dividend is payable on Dec. 12 to the holders of record at the close of business on Nov. 18. The regular dividend payment equates to a $1.26-per-share annual dividend, yielding 2.3% based on the closing price today of Walgreen's stock.
