Water utility operator Aqua America (WTRG 0.80%) announced yesterday its third-quarter dividend of $0.152 per share, the same rate it delivered last quarter after raising the payout to investors 8.5% from $0.14 per share. Aqua also split its shares 5-to-4 at that time.
The board of directors said the quarterly dividend is payable on Dec. 1 to holders of record as of the close of business on Nov. 18. The regular dividend payment equates to an approximately $0.61-per-share annual dividend, yielding 2.5% based on the closing price yesterday of Aqua America's stock.
