In today's episode of Consumer Countdown, host Mark Reeth plays a quick game with consumer goods analysts Michael Finarelli and Sean O'Reilly. The rules are simple: The analysts must decide if they would buy, sell, or hold a stock based on a piece of news or information given to them by Mark.

First, Mike must decide what he'd do with Gannett (GCI), the struggling publishing company. Gannett is in the midst of buying television company Belo for $1.5 billion, and Mike must decide if he believes in Gannet's future with TV.

Then, Sean has to figure out how he thinks Sonic (SONC) will perform in the next quarter. This quarter wasn't too strong due to several one-time charges, so he must decide if he believes Sonic will have a much stronger next quarter.
