Marvel should hire Joe Carnahan to make the forthcoming Daredevil TV show for Netflix (NFLX -3.92%), Fool contributor Tim Beyers says in the following video.

Fans might remember that Carnahan, whose TV credits include executive producing the new NBC drama The Blacklist, made a concept trailer for a Daredevil film. He'd been attached to the project via a deal with Twenty-First Century Fox (FOXA), which has since returned the film rights to the character to Marvel.

Now Netflix will make a 13-episode series starring Marvel's blind vigilante. Writer Drew Goddard, whose TV credits include Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Lost, and Alias, is attached to the project, according to a report in TheWrap. Adding Carnahan to the mix could give Netflix needed buzz while fast-tracking development, Tim says.
