On Thursday Dollar General (DG 0.37%) will announce earnings, and investors should be on the lookout for how the company's customers have been affected by the economy. Also on Thursday, Kroger (KR 1.36%) will reveal how it has been doing. Both Sean and Mike like the company's recent acquisition of Harris Teeter, and hope that it will help Kroger ride the organic groceries wave.
