  • The company is planning to sell its enthusiast media segment, home of Motor Trend and Automotive.com. The sale will leave just the consumer-guides operating segment.
  • PRIMEDIA carries a lowly one-star rating in Motley Fool CAPS. Playboy (NYSE:PLA), another publisher of "enthusiast" magazines, has a three-star rating.
