RCS MediaGroup SpA engages in multimedia publishing activities. It operates through the following segments: Newspapers Italy, Magazines Italy, Advertising and Sport, Unidad Editorial and Other Corporate Activities. The Newspapers Italy segment includes editing, production and marketing of publishing products relating to the titles Corriere della Sera (Corriere publications) and La Gazzetta dello Sport (Gazzetta dello Sport publications). The Magazines Italy segment offers Italian magazines, including weeklies and monthlies. The Advertising and Sport segment comprises the RCS Pubblicità (Italy) division, the advertising concessionaire of the RCS Group and RCS Live, as well as the activities regarding the organization of sporting events of RCS Sport S.p.A. The Unidad Editorial segment operates in the daily and magazine press, in book publishing, in radio broadcasting, in event and conference organization and in distribution. The Other Corporate Activities segment covers the service structures providing support to other group companies and business units which include information technology, administration and tax, management control, finance and treasury, procurement, legal and corporate affairs. The company was founded by Angelo Rizzoli in 1927 and is headquartered in Milan, Italy.
