Dan Caplinger
Dan Caplinger has worked on contract with The Motley Fool since 2006 in a wide variety of roles, having led the initial ramp-up of Fool.com's personal-finance and investment-planning content. In recent years, Dan has largely retreated behind the paywall, working with Fool co-founder Tom Gardner on preparing recommendations and reports for publications including Stock Advisor and the Moneyball Portfolio. With a background as an estate-planning attorney and independent financial consultant, Dan brought more than 20 years of past experience from all angles of the financial world to bear in bringing information to the Fool community for nearly 20 years more.
