Rich is a former Motley Fool member turned Motley Fool investment analyst and has worked at the company since 2006. He focuses on finding companies with sustainable competitive advantages, attractive unit economics, shareholder-friendly leadership, and compelling valuations. Before joining The Motley Fool, Rich worked at Freddie Mac, a quasi-government agency created to provide liquidity and stability to the U.S. mortgage market. He holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Virginia.
