Today's video focuses on stock price action, valuation metrics, and recent news affecting Facebook (META -10.56%)Mercadolibre (MELI -0.45%)Paypal (PYPL -1.14%), and Roku (ROKU 1.58%). Here are some highlights from the video. 

  1. Facebook's primary business is its advertisement segment, followed by the "others" segment, which includes hardware from its VR technology. Mark Zuckerberg continues to talk and spend research and development money to build a metaverse. On Oct. 7, Facebook announced a funding program to bring new creators into Horizon, Facebook's future metaverse. In theory, more creators mean more content, which would bring in more users.
  2. On Sept. 21, Paypal introduced its revamped Paypal application. Paypal states the new application is an "all-in-one personalized app that offers customers the best place to manage their financial lives." The app offers crypto and stock investing, direct deposits, tools for budgeting and savings, bill payments, and much more.
  3. In the past few weeks, Roku has continued to launch new products globally. On Sept. 27, Roku introduced its streaming player products to Germany, including various global and local streaming entertainment for users in Germany.
