On Nov. 6, PC Mall (NASDAQ:MALL) released third-quarter earnings for the period ended Sept. 30.

  • The 0.8% decrease in revenue was due to lost sales from eCOST.com, which contributed $10.6 million of net sales in Q3 2005. Commercial net sales grew by 8% primarily because of an 11% increase in sales from SMB.
  • A decline in cost of goods sold and the acquisition of GMRI's products business in September resulted in an increase in total gross profit.
  • A good mix of products and a reduction in selling, general, and administrative expenses resulted in a $1.7 million increase in net income.
