The Asia/Pacific aerospace boom has yielded an interesting problem for Boeing, as 185,000 new pilots along with 12,000 new planes will be needed in the Asia/Pacific region over next 20 years. It's interesting to hear that Boeing may be concerned over a lack of pilots, but overall, this isn’t something Boeing investors should be worried about right now. Demand for pilots should match up with supply in the long run. The aviation boom may prove to bring more competitors into the market, but Boeing has positioned itself well to take advantage.
