Samsung has now unveiled the world's first Windows Phone 8 smartphone, beating even Microsoft's biggest Windows Phone partner, Nokia. Samsung also recently beat out Nokia as the top mobile-phone maker in the world, so this unveiling adds insult to injury. At a time when phone makers may be re-evaluating their Android strategies due to Apple's big legal victory, Windows Phone 8's chances just got a little better. Nokia's own event is scheduled for early September, so investors won't have to wait long to see what the Finnish company has up its sleeve. While all of these companies have to take a step back and re-evaluate their space in the mobile industry in the wake of Apple's landmark patent win against Samsung, Apple continues to run forward and dominate this space. However, with the impending release of the iPhone 5 and Apple TV on the horizon, the stakes have never been higher for the company. If you’re looking for a recommendation on how to play Apple, along with continuing updates and guidance on the company whenever news breaks, we’ve created a brand-new report that details when to buy and sell Apple.
