EPS came in at $0.26. The nine earnings estimates compiled by S&P Capital IQ averaged $0.21 per share. GAAP EPS of $0.24 for Q3 were 86% lower than the prior-year quarter's $1.75 per share.

Margin details
For the quarter, gross margin was 35.8%, 100 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. Operating margin was 8.0%, 50 basis points better than the prior-year quarter. Net margin was 5.5%, 3,150 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter.

Looking ahead
Next quarter's average estimate for revenue is $509.2 million. On the bottom line, the average EPS estimate is $0.25.

Next year's average estimate for revenue is $2.00 billion. The average EPS estimate is $0.92.
