EPS came in at $0.44. The eight earnings estimates compiled by S&P Capital IQ anticipated $0.39 per share. GAAP EPS of $0.78 for Q3 were 7.1% lower than the prior-year quarter's $0.84 per share. (The prior-year quarter included $0.08 per share in earnings from discontinued operations.)

For the quarter, gross margin was 30.4%, 180 basis points better than the prior-year quarter. Operating margin was 9.8%, 180 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. Net margin was 13.1%, 1,050 basis points better than the prior-year quarter.
Next quarter's average estimate for revenue is $539.1 million. On the bottom line, the average EPS estimate is $0.40.
Next year's average estimate for revenue is $2.22 billion. The average EPS estimate is $1.67.
