EPS came in at $1.44. The nine earnings estimates compiled by S&P Capital IQ predicted $1.33 per share. GAAP EPS of $1.68 for Q3 were 54% higher than the prior-year quarter's $1.09 per share.

For the quarter, gross margin was 50.3%, 30 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. Operating margin was 7.9%, 40 basis points better than the prior-year quarter. Net margin was 6.2%, 200 basis points better than the prior-year quarter.
Next quarter's average estimate for revenue is $798.4 million. On the bottom line, the average EPS estimate is $2.20.
Next year's average estimate for revenue is $2.60 billion. The average EPS estimate is $5.02.
The stock has a four-star rating (out of five) at Motley Fool CAPS, with 113 members out of 129 rating the stock outperform, and 16 members rating it underperform.
