But those who bought in recently did get a "lucky" reward when the company recently sold several of its assets at a premium. Bos tells us how to choose good companies when you invest to increase your odds of experiencing lucky events like this, and what some of the pitfalls in choosing a strong company can be if you don't do your homework properly.
