EPS came in at $0.85. The 23 earnings estimates compiled by S&P Capital IQ averaged $0.85 per share. Non-GAAP EPS of $0.85 for Q4 were 7.6% lower than the prior-year quarter's $0.92 per share. (The prior-year quarter included -$0.03 per share in earnings from discontinued operations.) GAAP EPS of $0.69 for Q4 were 103% higher than the prior-year quarter's $0.34 per share. For the quarter, gross margin was 37.2%, 730 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. Operating margin was 7.0%, 90 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. Net margin was 1.9%, 100 basis points better than the prior-year quarter.
Next quarter's average estimate for revenue is $3.40 billion. On the bottom line, the average EPS estimate is $0.96.
Next year's average estimate for revenue is $13.59 billion. The average EPS estimate is $3.84.
The stock has a four-star rating (out of five) at Motley Fool CAPS, with 140 members out of 151 rating the stock outperform, and 11 members rating it underperform.
