Global investment management firm Cohen & Steers (CNS -1.10%) aims to steer investors right, announcing yesterday its second-quarter dividend of $0.20 per share, the same rate it paid last quarter after it raised the payout from $0.18 per share.

The money manager made a special dividend payment of $1.50 per share in November 2012. The board of directors said the quarterly dividend is payable on June 26 to the holders of record at the close of business on June 3.

Cohen & Steers has paid a dividend every quarter since 2004 and has regularly increased the payout over that time period. It has also paid several special dividends during that period.

The regular dividend payment equates to an $0.80-per-share annual dividend yielding 2% based on the closing price of Cohen & Steers' stock on May 8.
