Specialty chemicals maker Axiall (NYSE: AXLL) announced yesterday its second-quarter dividend of $0.08 per share, the same rate it's paid for the past four quarters after reinstating the payout.

The board of directors said the quarterly dividend is payable on July 10 to the holders of record at the close of business on June 28. Axiall suspended its dividend in 2008 before starting up again last year. The rate before the suspension was the same $0.08 per share.

The regular dividend payment equates to a $0.32-per-share annual dividend, yielding 0.6% based on the closing price of Axiall' stock on May 21.
