Diversified manufacturer SPX (SPW 2.15%) announced this morning its second-quarter dividend of $0.25 per share, the same rate it's paid for almost a decade.
The board of directors said the quarterly dividend is payable on July 2 to the holders of record at the close of business on June 14. It began making payouts to investors in 2004.
The regular dividend payment equates to a $1.00-per-share annual dividend, yielding 1.3% based on the closing price of SPX's stock on May 24. SPX is a diversified manufacturer with more than $5 billion in annual revenues.
