Global aerospace contractor Lockheed Martin (LMT 2.52%) announced yesterday its third-quarter dividend of $1.15 per share, the same rate it's paid for the past three quarters after raising the payout 15% from $1.00 per share. It marked the 10th consecutive annual dividend increase the company had made.
The board of directors said the quarterly dividend is payable on Sept. 27 to the holders of record at the close of business on Sept. 3. The aerospace engineer has made quarterly payouts to investors since 1995.
The regular dividend payment equates to a $4.60-per-share annual dividend, yielding 4.3% based on the closing price of Lockheed Martin's stock on June 27.
