Several new titles, including noteworthy CBS (PARA -0.47%) programs CSI: NY and L.A. Complex, will be made available to Netflix (NFLX -3.92%) subscribers as part of an extended, multiyear agreement announced this week.

The updated agreement also includes existing CBS programming on Netflix, such as Jericho, Flashpoint, and cult favorites such as Star Trek and Twin Peaks.

Netflix Chief Content Officer Ted Sarandos said, "Our goal is to give Netflix members a broad mix of engaging shows to watch, and we look forward to adding even more high-profile titles from CBS in the near future."

Scott Koondell, Chief Corporate Content Licensing Officer for CBS, was quoted in the same press release as saying, "Netflix is a key programming partner that is additive to our overall business, and we look forward to working with them in the years to come."

Terms of the agreement were not disclosed, including financial terms and length of the extension.
