The battle between Microsoft (MSFT +1.62%) Office 365 and Google (GOOG +0.20%) Apps may be one of the most important conflicts for business. In a recent story on ZDNet, many of the alterations that Google has forced in Microsoft's sales and marketing efforts are highlighted. The simple fact that Microsoft has had to take a reactionary approach is evidence that Google is having a real impact on the way Microsoft does business.
