Chinese search giant Baidu puts up a solid quarter as its mobile business continues to grow. Not many companies get to piggyback on the success of rivals, but Baidu is doing exactly that.

Despite competitive threats from Qihoo 360 (QIHU.DL) getting into search in China, Baidu (BIDU 1.24%) puts up solid growth in its mobile business. The company is able to follow in Google's (GOOGL 0.35%) footsteps in numerous ways, including piggybacking off of Android's runaway success, and investors are loving every bit of it.
