EPS came in at $0.89. The 11 earnings estimates compiled by S&P Capital IQ predicted $0.84 per share. Non-GAAP EPS of $0.89 for Q2 were 12% lower than the prior-year quarter's $1.01 per share. GAAP EPS of $0.81 for Q2 were 14% lower than the prior-year quarter's $0.94 per share.

For the quarter, gross margin was 59.6%, 280 basis points better than the prior-year quarter. Operating margin was 12.0%, 120 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. Net margin was 6.1%, 110 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. (Margins calculated in GAAP terms.)
